Thanks Barry.

For what it's worth.

I in no way regret my purchase of PHP Cart.
It's the best solution EVER for simple integration.

I spent HOURS trying to figure out other carts... this one was up and running in minutes.

Nah - this is bugging me to hell. I cannot for the life of me operate the "add to cart" buttons on my machine. Everyone else... no problem. I still get orders with no complaints. I've not looked at the code recently as if it ain't broke for the people with the £££ I ain't gonna mess with i...

Not for me.
It still loops in my version of IE6 - but most of my customers don't have a problem ordering even though they have the same version.

I guess I'm to blame for using that Damn Windows Update site.

Ha!

Everything worked fine until my latest "Windows Update" and now it's looping again.

The problem for sure is with creating that bleeding cookie.

/back to the drawingboard

Or simply use NetScape!

LOL

More later

Well, been running the cookie timer hack for a while now and no reported errors from any of my customers.

Can anyone who's experienced the infinate looping problem and applied the hack let me know their results.

Would hate to go back to code.

Infinite Loop Problem - STILL THERE!

This is REALLY pissing me off again.

After a search I found various items referring to bugs in the version 4 of php and LOADS of looping problems.

The bug-fix I posted yesterday has now somehow decided to go tits up - so back to the drawing board.

Still got problems...

I also host on a Plesk server and get EXACTLY the same problem. Have done since migration. But it processes EVERY other PHP script I have faultlessly. The problem occurs in IE 6.0 - no probs whatsoever in NetScape 7.0 - works like a charm. I really don't want to migrate again after stumping up a yea...

I too am getting the infinate loop.
My cart was installed AOK and working 100% a week ago... then I updated windows from Micro$hafts site - I'm guessing they have made a change to IE6.

If anyone has a work around - I would appreciate it.

Thanks for your prompt reply (as always) I uploaded a pre-configured back-up of the cart to my new server (alter configuration_1.php to include the new host) So it seems to work fine for the moment... although in saying that - after I sent a snotty e-mail to my host - the admin panel came on-line an...

Variable Shipping

Is it possible to add shipping based on total price?

ie IF ORDERVALUE>=20.00 THEN SHIPPING=5.00
IF ORDERVALUE<=19.99 THEN SHIPPING=3.00

That sort of thing?

Would be pretty cool additional.
(and also help me a great deal)

:D

Only thing I can think of is to use the downloadable program as a product and lock it in a password protected zip file.

Once payment is confirmed - email them the unlock key.

My 2 pence worth...
